5.jpg Our first stop was to fly into the capital of the French Polynesian Islands (Tahiti), Papeete (pronounced Pop-Pie-Et-Tay).

Here is a typical street in the city. Nice island port. Nice place.

10.jpg Papeete is a nice place itself, let alone the other islands. Here we took a tour inland to a beautiful swimming area with a waterfall. Lush, beautiful forests and areas all over French Polynesia.

15.jpg Here I am taking a dip at the bottom of a waterfall. Looks very nice, but the water is a little cold here. But you get use to it and it's wonderfully refreshing.

20.jpg At the port at Papeete. Getting ready to board the cruise ship. We sailed Princess Cruises. Nice ship. The mate was a mighty sailing man. The skipper brave and sure....

25.jpg We leave Papeete. Looking forward to a wonderful time. We weren't disappointed.

30.jpg Our first stop was Moorea. A small island, and a nice relaxing place. We depart the ship to enjoy.

35.jpg Nice little pedestrian and vehicle bridge over a wonderful area, as we tour the island. Very peaceful. Very wonderful.

40.jpg Believe we are at the island of Huahine in this pic. As you can see, the beauty just keeps coming. Weather is always nice. You can relax forever here. So beautiful!

45.jpg We are, I believe, at Raiatea here. What a beautful place. Raiatea is not very inhabited and maybe that's why it's so beautiful. Everywhere you look you see similar sights.

50.jpg We're at Bora Bora now. Probalby the best island in my humble opinion, because it combines all the beauty of the other islands (they are all terrific), but also Bora Bora has some sembelance of civilation.

I think I could retire there and live just fine.

55.jpg The water is warm everywhere. No problem swimming and relaxing. There are fish everywhere. Very colorful. So many varieties.

Here Adelina is pointing to a school of fish. At one point, Adelina threw out bread she brought from the ship and hundreds of fish swarmed toward her!

Some people say to not feed the animals (and fish), because to do so, they will lose their ability to hunt for themselves. If that is the case, these guys lost the ability a long time ago. But they know how to find food when a human hands it out, all right.

60.jpg A small town on the island, which I belive is Bora Bora. Again, there is some civilization here, so it's not a bad place to live.

65.jpg We took a little sailboat cruise at Bora Bora. Here we depart our hotel and look forward to the beauty of the island.

70.jpg An area of Bora Bora. The weather looks cold, but it's very warm and nice. Being an island, humidity and sometimes rain can happen. But oh, it is so nice, warm, peaceful and beautiful!

75.jpg Now here we see some of what Bora Bora is famous for. The on-the-water hotels. We obviouly didn't go into them, but understand they are nice places and have glass bottoms in spots with lights, so fish will show up to feed on bugs attracted to the lights and you can see them.

I understand that if you just show up for a room, these babies can cost upwards of $900 American per night! So make your reservations well in advance with Groupon or some other juicy discount structure.

We'd suggest a cruise ship.. cheapest way to see everything, and the hotel travels with you! How sweet it is!

80.jpg Another beautiful place we stopped with a beautiful view. Oh, and the island is a good view also. Again, water and weather is warm, and everything is beautiful. Ahh...

85.jpg A picture of an inlet. All these islands are totally beautiful like this. Tahiti is a wonderful place to visit and take in the beauty of these beautiful islands.

Come and relax and enjoy all that God created in this area. Take advantage of the quiet and calm, and listen, and you might just hear from God all about his love for the earth and for you.
